After alot of interest fom our customers and requests for its return we will start blogging our projects again
We have been on our holidays, for the last few weeks, We have now taken delivery of VIXEN from Paul Barber Boat Builders, The windows and ballast have been installed, also the engine .While i was away John fitted the insulated floor and battened the shell out ready for spray foam.Now we are under way the blog will be updated twice a month,comments and questions will gladly be answered .
Linton Lass is shipshape and all ready for her maiden voyage .We have had a busy week finishing all the little jobs that seem to take ages .Here are a few photos and i,ll put an update up when we have the Linton Lass gallery on the main website
This week as been very busy with Nb Bounty leaving us after some engineering jobs being done (off Narrowboat world ) http://www.narrowboatworld.com/.Also thanks to Plan it Granite for doing a great job on supplying and fitting Granite worktops to Nb Linton Lass(http://plan-it-granite.co.uk/) ,we have fitted the sit on basin in the bathroom and en-suite,John is well on the way to completing all the ash trims, and big thank you to Narrowboatworld for a great editorial link below
All the galley units are now in place and the templates have been took for the granite work tops, also John as been busy lining the doors and fitting of all locks.
Nb Vixon our next bespoke build has been started and is coming on well, the shell is being by Paul Barber boat builders just up the cut from us at Trent lock
This week has been to hot on N B LL to work out side, so we have brought her under cover, The bathroom is 90% complete and work as now started on the galley with units just positioned, for John to work his magic next week
Painting of nb LL is coming on well we have the windows and doors back on as well coach lines finished a few more days in the paint shed should see the anti slip applied to the tops of the gunnels and near completion , John as been busy working on the bathroom we have the floor down and vanity unit made unit made
Crane boat Mcb 12 is on the Covered Dry Dock for a bit of tlc this is the first time MCB 12 as been on the dock Cart have 5 crane boats
This week we have been busy preparing NB Linton lass, for painting,after removing windows ,Mushroom vents and Grills, then we have to tape up all the window apertures vent holes to keep the dust out, as we go back to bare steel were needed. we have managed to two coats of high build primer, and a coat of undercoat this week.

I have been busy working on the bedroom, all the drawers have been made this week using dovetail joints a traditional way of making drawers that will stand the test of time ,window trims have been fitted and i have to say the hurricane diesel boiler is an amazing piece of kit its been on test this week and has been a great success
After a extended bank holiday weekend for the Kingfisher staff, (a well earned rest). We took delivery of the Hobbit Stove , we are very impressed by the packaging, polystyrene and plywood case on a pallet
The heating system is 90% complete , also we have been busy fitting the Beta 43, Mick as spent 2 days in the engine bay , John has been working in the lobby , and bed room ,next week we should have pictures of the completed lockers above the bed.
